Abilene, Texas – February 13, 2025 – A recent human trafficking sting operation in Abilene led to the rescue of six victims and the arrest of five suspects. The operation, conducted on February 12 and 13, was spearheaded by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) with support from the Abilene Police Department, the Texas Attorney General’s Office, and the Department of Homeland Security.
The operation focused on combating child exploitation and human trafficking, with officials stating that its goal was to apprehend human traffickers and those soliciting minor prostitution. It also aimed to provide services and assistance to victims of trafficking.
DPS officials confirmed that six victims were successfully rescued and received support from the state. Five suspects were arrested, with charges including Online Solicitation of Prostitution Under 18 and Compelling Prostitution.
The suspects arrested during the operation and booked into the Taylor County Jail include:
Zaedrian Kiser – Solicitation of Prostitution/Payor Under 18
Epambela Epambela – Prostitution-Minor, Immigration
Jerry Carson – Solicitation of Prostitution Under 18
Justin Williams – Compelling Prostitution
The investigation continues, and authorities have not disclosed additional details about the suspects.
