Police have arrested six individuals from Andhra Pradesh in connection with a mobile theft that occurred on a moving bus in Electronics City. Authorities also recovered 70 stolen mobile phones, a car, and a motorcycle, with an estimated total value of Rs25 lakh.
The accused have been identified as Naganuri Kumar (20), Sagar Sannakki (32), Shivakumar (30), Guddu Sab (36), Halappa (29), and Shivashankar (20).
According to police, the suspects allegedly carried out the thefts while the bus was in transit, making use of the crowded conditions. Investigators are now probing whether the group was involved in similar mobile thefts elsewhere and are looking to trace additional stolen devices.
