HAMILTON COUNTY, Texas — Hamilton County Sheriff Jason Bradley Boulton has been arrested and booked into the Coryell County Jail on multiple charges, authorities said.
Boulton faces allegations including tampering with government records, abuse of official capacity, failure to report a felony, and giving a false statement to law enforcement, according to arrest records.
Investigators said Boulton knowingly falsified entries in a government record related to the monthly community service timesheet. An arrest affidavit also states he violated the Texas Code of Criminal Procedures in May 2025 by possessing and facilitating delivery of a dangerous drug and tampering with a government record.
Additional charges include failing to immediately report a felony in July 2025 and providing false information to a peace officer during a criminal investigation.
Boulton’s bail has been set at $110,000, and authorities confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
