EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 25-year-old man was arrested on drug possession charges after being found parked illegally in Horizon City, police said.

On August 29 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Horizon City Police were on patrol near the 14000 block of Kingston when they spotted a vehicle parked illegally with a single occupant inside. Officers identified the driver as Shemar Daquan Lowery, 25.

During the investigation, police noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. A further search revealed a crystallized substance weighing 2 grams, which tested positive for methamphetamine.
