At approximately 11:05 pm on that evening, officers responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 2600 block of Keating Street. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered Dillard inside an apartment building suffering from a gunshot wound. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to a local hospital.

The PGPD’s Homicide Unit quickly launched an investigation, leading to Robinson’s arrest by the department’s Fugitive Unit on Monday. Robinson has been charged with first-degree and second-degree murder in connection with Dillard’s death. She is currently being held without bond in the custody of the Department of Corrections.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The PGPD is asking anyone with information relevant to the case to contact the Homicide Unit at 301-516-2512.
