LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — A 24-year-old Lincoln woman, Shelby Weston, is facing five felony drug charges after police found her unconscious in a U-Haul truck parked at a Casey’s gas station early Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred around 12:19 a.m. at Casey’s near 27th and Superior streets. A store employee alerted authorities to a woman passed out in a vehicle near the gas pumps.
Upon arrival, Lincoln Police found Weston unresponsive. After waking her, officers noticed signs of impairment, including bloodshot, glossy eyes, and observed a Narcan nasal spray in her purse. Given her prior drug-related charges, officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle.

Inside the U-Haul, police found:
Suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl
36 suspected fentanyl pills
A compressed purple powder (tested as fentanyl)
Psilocybin mushroom chocolate bar
Drug paraphernalia including syringes, a spoon, foil, Q-tips, and straws
Digital scales and multiple phones
$2,100 in cash
A ledger with pricing, weights, and “owe” notes
While officers did not break open the suspected fentanyl pills, initial tests from swabbing the outside yielded no positive result.

Weston was booked into Lancaster County Jail and charged with:
Possession of a controlled substance
Possession with intent to distribute a hazardous drug
And three additional related felony drug offenses
She is being held on a $500,000 bond. Her next court hearing is scheduled for June 25.
