Shelby “Raven” Sholar Sentenced for Meth Trafficking Attempt

Receives up to 37 months in NC Department of Corrections

Duplin County, NC – Shelby “Raven” Sholar has been sentenced to serve 23 to 37 months in the North Carolina Department of Corrections following a felony conviction for attempting to traffic methamphetamine.

The sentencing took place in Duplin County Superior Court, where Sholar was found guilty of one count of felony attempt to traffic meth.

Sheriff Stratton Stokes expressed his appreciation to District Attorney Ernie Lee and the Fifth Prosecutorial District for their efforts in successfully prosecuting the case.

Sholar will now serve an active prison sentence as part of the judgment.
