MASON COUNTY, W.Va. — Shawn Horne has been arrested in connection with the theft of approximately $5,000 worth of tools from a utility trailer, the Mason County Metro Police Department reported.
Horne was charged with Felony Receiving and Transferring Stolen Property following a preliminary investigation. Police noted that additional stolen items may still be missing, primarily DeWalt carpentry tools.
Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone who has purchased, been offered, or come into contact with tools that may be linked to this theft, or who has information on the location of other stolen property, is urged to contact the Mason Metro Police Department immediately.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as the case develops.
