In a swift breakthrough, Begur police have apprehended two habitual offenders involved in a series of house break thefts across the city. The accused have been linked to at least five recent incidents reported in various neighborhoods.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Shanth Kumar (37), a wall painter, and his associate Jnanaprakasham (40), a carpenter. Both are residents of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). Authorities said the duo had been targeting locked houses and stealing valuables during late-night hours.
Police are continuing their investigation to recover stolen property and determine whether the pair is connected to additional theft cases.
