Shannon Badalamenti Arrested on Drug Charges in Kentucky

Fugitive caught with meth, fentanyl, pills, and firearm

ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) — A fugitive from West Virginia, Shannon Badalamenti, 47, was arrested in Boyd County, Kentucky, on multiple drug trafficking charges, authorities confirmed.

Badalamenti was apprehended on Thursday, August 28, at the intersection of State Route 3 and Clay Jack Road in the Rush area by members of the Northeast Kentucky Drug Task Force and Appalachia HIDTA.

During the arrest, agents seized:

Suspected methamphetamine

Fentanyl

Cocaine

A variety of pills

A firearm

$1,555 in cash

She is currently being held at the Boyd County Detention Center, facing charges including first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Authorities have not released further details regarding extradition or additional charges related to her fugitive status in West Virginia.
