In a chilling act of public violence, the Petbasheerabad police have arrested five individuals for the brutal murder of a 38-year-old businessman, Syed Siddiq, who was stabbed to death in full public view at a crowded weekly market in Kompally on Sunday evening.
The accused have been identified as Shaik Ahmad alias Noor (33), Shaik Rehmath (24), Kodimyala Shashi Kumar (23), Vagmar Raj Kamal (24), and Varikuppala Jampanna (20). All of the accused except Jampanna are residents of Macha Bollaram, while he hails from Old Alwal, according to officials from the Hyberabad police.
The shocking incident took place amidst a bustling market crowd, sending shockwaves through the local community. Police responded quickly and initiated a manhunt that led to the swift arrest of all five suspects.
