BANGKOK — The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division (ATPD) has arrested seven individuals—four foreigners and three Thais—on charges of producing and distributing pornographic content, including child pornography, through various online platforms. The arrests were made after a thorough investigation by the ATPD under the Central Investigation Bureau.
The Investigation and Arrests:
The suspects were allegedly involved in a widespread operation using Bangkok as a base for producing pornographic videos. The operation included a notorious channel called TukTuk Patrol, where male actors would approach Thai women, particularly sex workers, and invite them to perform in sex videos. The channel was known for filming these acts in various tourist spots across Bangkok. The videos were then uploaded to platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), OnlyFans, Instagram, and TikTok, amassing hundreds of thousands of followers.
Identifying the Suspects:
The ATPD identified the suspects, and the arrests took place over recent days. The arrested foreigners include:
Benjamin, 40, a Russian national, who allegedly invited Thai women to ride a tuk-tuk, where sex videos were filmed. He was arrested at Suvarnabhumi Airport but denied distributing the videos, claiming his friends abroad handled that.
Volker, 48, a German national, who was accused of filming videos with Thai transvestites. He was arrested in Chonburi and denied the charges.
Zvezdan, 32, a Serbian national, suspected of coercing Thai women and transvestites to appear in videos. He distributed them via X, Instagram, TikTok, and OnlyFans. He admitted to the charges and was arrested in Pattaya.
Andrei, 34, nationality unverified, suspected of filming a threesome video with Thai women. He was arrested in Bangkok and admitted to the charges.
In addition to these foreign nationals, three Thai suspects were arrested:
Thanasilp, 30, who allegedly shot videos of himself with Thai men and distributed them through a subscription-based online channel. He was arrested in Bangkok and did not deny the charges.
Saengthian, 26, also filmed and distributed similar content via subscription, and was arrested at a boarding house in Bangkok. He did not deny the charges.
Ratana, 36, a Thai woman who filmed and advertised her sex videos on her X page and OnlyFans, with a following of 200,000 people. She was arrested in Pattaya and did not deny the charges.
