Miami, FL – A 42-year-old woman identified as Milagro Castillo has been arrested in connection with a string of thefts at multiple Miami-area retail stores, including CVS, Walgreens, Publix, and Navarro Pharmacy, dating back to 2024.
Castillo was taken into custody on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, and charged with multiple counts of grand theft and petty theft, according to arrest records. Authorities say she is suspected in at least 11 theft cases, with stolen goods totaling thousands of dollars.
Some of the notable incidents include:
Sept. 12, 2024: $350 in cosmetics stolen from Walgreens at 13680 SW 88th Street
July 8 & 12, 2024: Two thefts at Navarro Pharmacy, including air fryers and appliances worth over $488
Jan. 15, 2025: $2,200 in products stolen from CVS at 650 NW 27th Avenue
March 9, 2025: $800 in merchandise taken from Publix at 12100 SW 127th Avenue
April 2025: Three thefts totaling nearly $1,300
May 2, 2025: $1,015 worth of items taken from CVS at 3695 W. Flagler Street
June 2 & 3, 2025: Back-to-back thefts totaling $759 from Walgreens and CVS
Police say Castillo was apprehended following the June 3rd theft, and she was booked into jail shortly after. Arrest records also indicate she has prior convictions for theft-related offenses.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are examining whether Castillo may be connected to other retail thefts in the region.
