Sera Nabam Arrested in Pakke Kessang Burglary Case

20-year-old nabbed for house break-in during June absence

In a major development, Pakke Kessang Police arrested Sera Nabam (20), a resident of Lower Bazaar Market, in connection with a high-profile house burglary case registered under PKSG PS Case No. 06/25 u/s 305/331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The burglary occurred sometime between June 1 and June 20, during which the complainant was out of town. The accused took advantage of the vacant residence to carry out the theft.

Acting swiftly on the complaint, a dedicated team led by Officer-in-Charge SI Tage Kapa and under the direct supervision of Superintendent of Police Tasi Darang launched an intensive manhunt. Their efforts led to the successful apprehension of the suspect on June 30.

Police sources confirmed that Sera Nabam is being interrogated, and further investigation is underway to trace any accomplices and recover stolen property.

This arrest marks a key breakthrough in ensuring security in the region and sends a strong message against criminal activities targeting homes during prolonged absences.
