Seneca Falls, NY — A Seneca Falls man, Sedell Hall Jr., has been charged with two counts of petit larceny following a pair of shoplifting incidents at the local Walmart, according to the Seneca Falls Police Department.

Authorities say Hall was seen selecting merchandise and then exiting the store without paying, bypassing all points of sale. After fleeing the scene in a vehicle, he was quickly located when police found the car nearby.

Further investigation revealed that Hall had allegedly committed a similar theft at the same Walmart the previous day, prompting the second charge.

Hall was taken into custody and later released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.

As with all criminal cases, it is important to note that charges are merely accusations. Sedell Hall Jr. is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
