A 36-year-old security guard was arrested on Thursday for allegedly murdering an eight-year-old boy in a suspected act of revenge against his neighbors, according to the police.
The accused, identified as Chandeswar Matur, a native of Bihar, was employed at an apartment complex in Rayasandra, where the tragic incident occurred. The victim, Ramananda, who also hailed from Bihar, lived in the same locality with his family.
Police say that the motive behind the murder appears to be linked to a personal dispute between the accused and the victim’s family. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of the circumstances that led to the tragic event.
Chandeswar Matur has been taken into custody, and further legal action is being pursued.
