Sebastian Hernandez Arrested for Laredo Beer Store Robbery

Man charged after pushing clerk during theft

Laredo – A man was arrested after pushing a store clerk while attempting to steal beer from a local convenience store, the Laredo Police Department reported.

Officers responded at approximately 3:31 a.m. on Oct. 25, 2025, to a store on the 2000 block of Santa Maria Avenue following a reported theft.

According to police, the suspect entered the store, took two 18-packs of beer, and tried to leave without paying. When the store clerk blocked his exit, he pushed her, causing arm pain.

The suspect fled in a four-door Honda. Investigators later identified him as Sebastian Hernandez, 24.

Hernandez was served with an arrest warrant on March 7 for robbery, a second-degree felony. He was booked into Webb County Jail on a $75,000 bond, where he remained in custody as of Monday afternoon.
