FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Fargo man, identified as Sean Ferguson, was arrested after allegedly attempting to steal a police trike and being found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
On August 25, Fargo Police responded to a disturbance near 304 Roberts Street. Upon arrival, officers found Ferguson behaving erratically and reportedly experiencing a mental health crisis. Police say he refused help and began acting unpredictably.
During the encounter, Ferguson allegedly tried to steal a police trike—a specialized three-wheeled vehicle valued at $12,000. Officers intervened, removed him from the trike, and detained him in handcuffs.
According to court documents, Ferguson was found with suspected narcotics and paraphernalia. He was medically evaluated and cleared for jail before being transported to the Cass County Jail.

Attempted theft
Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of drug paraphernalia
His first court appearance is scheduled for August 27.
