GUAM — A 12-gram methamphetamine seizure and high-speed pursuit across multiple villages ended in the arrest of Scott Flores on Wednesday, the Guam Police Department confirmed.
The incident began when officers attempted to stop a truck driven by Flores near Leyang Road by Tun Juan White Street in Barrigada. Instead of stopping, Flores fled, prompting a pursuit.
According to police, Flores sped south on Route 10 and Route 4, entering oncoming lanes and nearly causing head-on collisions. He also struck traffic cones near a construction zone.
The chase ended near Dero Road in Ordot, when Flores’ vehicle hit a median and blew out its tires. He came to a stop at Chaot Bridge, where officers apprehended him.
Police recovered approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine and $144 in cash from the vehicle. Flores was booked for illegal possession of a controlled substance, processed, and confined at the Department of Corrections.
His case has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for review and prosecution.
