PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) — A school nurse from Wauregan, Holly Desimone, 52, and her husband, David Desimone, 56, were arrested following an investigation into the sexual assault of a minor.
Plainfield police were alerted to the assault in June and conducted an investigation revealing that David Desimone had multiple instances of inappropriate sexual contact with a minor. Authorities also found that Holly Desimone was aware of the abuse but failed to report it.
David Desimone faces charges including one count of first-degree sexual assault, three counts of third-degree sexual assault, four counts of fourth-degree sexual assault, four counts of risk of injury to a child involving illegal sexual contact, and one count of conspiracy to commit risk of injury involving illegal sexual contact.
He was released after posting a $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
Holly Desimone was charged with conspiracy to commit risk of injury to a child. She was released on a $50,000 bond and is also expected in court tomorrow.
Plainfield Superintendent Paul Brenton confirmed that Holly Desimone worked as a nurse in the school system.
