Saun Landis Rainge, 32, has been arrested for the murder of his girlfriend, Porshe Nikita Shaneé Streeter, 30, in Florida. The fatal shooting took place on January 13, 2024, as Streeter slept in bed with their three young children. Rainge, along with accomplice Benjamin Garmon, has been charged with first-degree murder.

Rainge reportedly enlisted Garmon to kill Streeter and make it appear as though a home invasion had taken place. Streeter, who had known Rainge since high school, was shot multiple times while in bed with their children, aged 10, 2, and 1. Thankfully, none of the children were physically harmed.

According to investigators, Rainge initially called 911 after the shooting, claiming that an intruder had attacked him and Streeter. When police arrived, they found Streeter on the floor, unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds. Rainge had a gunshot wound to his arm, and the master bedroom door appeared to have been forced open, making the scene look like a break-in.

Investigators grew suspicious of Rainge’s story. A friend later told police that Rainge had physically abused Streeter days before the shooting, and others confirmed this. Rainge’s motive for murder was linked to custody issues over their children and financial disputes, with officials alleging that Streeter had been hiding money from him.

After a year-long investigation, authorities concluded that Rainge had planned Streeter’s death. Garmon is also charged with conspiracy to commit murder, as he allegedly shot Rainge to make the crime seem like a home invasion.

Both Rainge and Garmon face severe legal consequences as they are charged for this tragic crime.
