Sarina Woods Arrested in Fatal Blytheville Shooting

Zayona Williams also charged with tampering in the case

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (KAIT) — Two women have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday night in Blytheville.

According to Sgt. Robin Haught-Angel, public information officer for the Blytheville Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of South Sarah Street on May 13.

Upon arrival, police found 25-year-old Bryant Johnson of Osceola deceased at the scene.

Following an investigation, Sarina Woods, 37, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. In addition, Zayona Williams, 18, was charged with tampering with physical evidence.

Both suspects were scheduled to appear before a judge for arraignment on May 14.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding a possible motive or the circumstances of the shooting.
