HUNTSVILLE, OH — A Missouri woman was arrested Sunday afternoon following a report of suspicious behavior at a Dollar General in Huntsville, Ohio.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, dispatchers received a call shortly before 3:00 PM from a store clerk who noticed two women entering and exiting the store multiple times with large bags, appearing to be under the influence of drugs.

Deputies responded and found 30-year-old Sarah Moro standing outside a white pickup truck in front of the store. Moro admitted to recently using methamphetamine and was showing visible signs of impairment.

She was placed into a patrol cruiser for further evaluation, where she later told medics she had taken five fentanyl pills. Moro was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital for medical treatment.

Following her removal, deputies searched the cruiser and discovered a clear plastic bag containing 9.76 grams of methamphetamine. Cruiser camera footage revealed Moro removing the item from her clothing and attempting to hide it behind the seat. A red metal straw with drug residue was also found pushed under the front seat.

After being cleared by hospital staff, Moro was booked into the Logan County Jail, where she now faces multiple charges:

Possession of Controlled Substances (3rd-degree felony)

Obstructing Justice (5th-degree felony)

Tampering with Evidence (3rd-degree felony)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (4th-degree misdemeanor)

Authorities also confirmed that Moro is wanted on outstanding warrants in Missouri.
