A Missouri woman was arrested after allegedly stealing AT&T wire and possessing methamphetamine in Barnhart, according to court documents.
Sarah Graham, 37, of Edwardsville, Illinois, was booked on Jan. 29 at the Jefferson County Jail. As of Feb. 2, she was being held on a $5,000 bond.
In May 2025, the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Graham with felony stealing and felony possession of a controlled substance.
According to a probable-cause statement from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Graham was riding in a 2005 Ford F-150 near Metropolitan Boulevard and Stahl Road on Jan. 21, 2025, when she allegedly picked up about 125 feet of AT&T wire and placed it under a blue tarp in the truck bed. The vehicle had stopped because a dog had vomited in the rear passenger area.
A deputy responding to the scene arrested Graham and allegedly found a bag containing a white crystal-like substance attached to her belt loop, along with a smoking pipe with white-and-black residue inside the truck.
Testing by the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that the substances were methamphetamine.
