A Scottsville woman was arrested on multiple drug-related charges following a traffic stop on Tuesday afternoon. Police stopped 43-year-old Sara Sanspree at around 3 p.m. while driving a 2010 Chrysler.
Upon conducting the stop, a K-9 unit alerted officers to the vehicle, prompting further investigation. Authorities say they discovered a large quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, U.S. currency, and items typically associated with drug trafficking and paraphernalia possession.
Sanspree was taken into custody and charged with:
First-degree trafficking in controlled substance (methamphetamine)
First-degree trafficking in controlled substance (cocaine)
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Persistent felony offender II
