Santhosh Selvam and Manikandan Arrested for Mannancherry Thefts

Two Tamil Nadu natives involved in Kuruva gang's thefts

The police confirmed on Sunday that the recent thefts in Mannancherry, Alappuzha, were executed by the notorious ‘Kuruva gang.’ Following a swift investigation, two individuals, identified as Santhosh Selvam and Manikandan, both from Tamil Nadu, were apprehended by the police on Saturday in connection with the October 29 thefts.

The duo was arrested from Kundanoor in Ernakulam. However, during the custody, Santhosh managed to escape but was later recaptured a few hours later from the same location, Kundanoor. The police continue to investigate the involvement of the gang in other local crimes.
