Sania Law, Two Others Charged in Minot Home Invasion

Victim says assault followed social media dispute

by Sophia Bennett

MINOT, N.D. — Prosecutors have charged Sania Law, Starrneice Price, and Makayla Turnbo in connection with a violent home invasion that allegedly stemmed from a dispute on social media.

According to a criminal affidavit, the victim told investigators she had an argument with Law over social media messages prior to the incident. The victim said Law later came to her southeast Minot residence, where the door was kicked open and all three suspects entered the home.

The victim reported that the trio began assaulting her, and she used her arm to shield two children who were inside the home during the attack.

She also told investigators that Law threatened to return and “shoot up the place.” When the victim attempted to call 911, she said her phone was forcibly taken from her twice, preventing her from contacting emergency services.

All three suspects are now facing charges of burglary, terrorizing, and interference with an emergency call.
