LOS ANGELES COUNTY — Authorities arrested a West Covina woman after discovering approximately $24,000 worth of stolen merchandise in connection with an organized retail theft operation.
Riverside County detectives began investigating on January 25 after a suspect reportedly stole $3,000 in goods from a business on the 12000 block of Limonite Avenue in Eastvale.
The investigation revealed the theft was part of a larger organized scheme. Sandra Flores, 46, was identified as the primary suspect. On March 16, deputies served a search warrant at her home on the 800 block of Sunset Avenue, recovering about $24,000 in stolen merchandise, including designer beauty products and cosmetics.
Flores was arrested and faces charges including organized retail theft, criminal profiteering, and receiving stolen property.
The case has been submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review. Authorities have not released further details as the investigation continues.
