San Jose police arrested Darren Nguyen, 19, of Oakland, and Alexander Carrillo, 19, of Tracy, along with four juvenile suspects, for their involvement in a months-long crime spree involving armed carjackings, robberies, and vehicle thefts across the Bay Area.
Detectives linked the suspects to multiple vehicle thefts, burglaries, and sideshow activity. Stolen vehicles were later recovered in San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward.

Dec. 5, 2024: Nguyen arrested in Morgan Hill.
Feb. 4, 2025: Carrillo arrested in San Jose.
Feb. 25, 2025 – March 18, 2025: Four juvenile suspects arrested in Alameda County.
Search warrants led to the seizure of physical evidence, including a firearm.
