by Ananya Mehta

Sambalpur police arrested four men on Monday for the murder of 25-year-old Babu Yadav, whose body was found in the Burla power channel last week. The crime was reportedly fueled by a financial dispute and personal enmity.

Babu Yadav, a resident of Daldalipada, went missing early on August 6. His half-decomposed body was recovered from the power channel on August 9.

After a detailed investigation, police arrested Karan Joshi (23), Jagdish Rohidas (28), Arjun Joshi (25), and Sananda Rohidas, all from Daldalipada. Authorities seized a steel knife and an iron rod believed to have been used in the murder.

The suspects are currently in police custody as further investigations continue.
