Samba Police Arrest Two for Barbed Wire Theft from Santosh Kumaris House

Accused Rohit Sambyal and Rajat Billowria caught with stolen goods

Samba Police have cracked a theft case registered at Police Station Samba, arresting two accused and recovering stolen property.

On September 16, a written complaint was lodged by Santosh Kumari, wife of the late Behari Lal of Kehli Mandi Samba, reporting the theft of barbed wire from her house premises during the intervening night of September 15 and 16, 2025.

Based on the complaint, FIR No. 237/2025 under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered, and an investigation was launched.

After relentless efforts, the PS Samba team apprehended two suspects: Rohit Sambyal, son of the late Yuvraj Singh of Kehli Mandi, Budwani Samba, and Rajat Billowria, son of Ramesh Singh Billowria of Budwani Samba. Both confessed their involvement in the theft during sustained questioning.

Following their disclosure, the stolen barbed wire was recovered. The investigation is ongoing under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas.
