A 21-year-old woman from Seneca Falls has been charged following a shoplifting incident at Kinney Drugs on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, Samantha Briggs allegedly concealed merchandise in the pocket of her sweatshirt while shopping. She then passed all points of sale without paying, prompting a petit larceny charge.
Briggs was processed at the scene and released with an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court to respond to the charge.
Police did not disclose the value or type of the merchandise involved in the alleged theft.
