Sam Simmonite Arrested for Assaulting Officer and Theft in Kendal

47-year-old charged with theft and assault on emergency worker

A man from Kendal, Sam Simmonite, 47, was arrested after allegedly assaulting a female police officer during a theft incident. Simmonite was caught stealing goods on October 11 and subsequently charged with multiple offenses including attempted theft, assault by beating of an emergency worker, resisting arrest, common assault, and being found on an enclosed premises.

He appeared in South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court and is scheduled to give his plea for the charges.
