BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Salamanca woman has been charged with murder following a death at her residence on River Street, the Salamanca Police Department announced.
Meagan White, 28, faces charges of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and first-degree assault in connection to the death of another woman in an upper-floor apartment at 117 River Street, where White also resides.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office assisted in White’s arrest. She was arraigned at Salamanca City Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation into the alleged murder is ongoing.
