FARGO, N.D. – A Fargo man is facing serious charges after a violent domestic disturbance on September 9 led to his arrest for burglary, terrorizing, and criminal mischief, according to court documents.
Sage Paul allegedly forced his way into a victim’s apartment around 8 a.m., pushed the victim onto a bed, and held a knife to their neck while yelling.
The victim managed to calm Paul down, convincing him to step away and take a shower. While he was in the bathroom, the victim called Fargo Police and reported that he was still inside the apartment.
Officers arrived at the scene, entered the apartment, and arrested Paul after a short conversation.
In a police interview, Paul admitted to breaking into the apartment but denied using a knife. He claimed he entered because he believed the victim was in danger.
Sage Paul is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on October 16 at 1:30 p.m.
