SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) announced the arrest of 17 more individuals during their ongoing multi-day retail theft operation.
Day three of the crackdown targeted stores at Town and Country Village, including Sprouts, Five Below, TJ Maxx, Ross, and Target on Fulton Avenue. Among those arrested, four were charged under California’s Proposition 36, which allows felony charges for thefts of $950 or less if the offender has two or more prior theft convictions.
The individuals arrested include Ailene Faravelli, 41; Dante Walls, 19; Sonai Murphy, 19; Jennifer Miller, 29; Brittney Denrow, 33; Tabojia Washington, 33 (Prop 36); Wendy Kerski, 51; Sarah Moody, 36; Areanna Parker (Prop 36); Pheonix Eaton, 24; Kimberly Heers-Sailsbery, 23; Cody Shaw-Montgomery, 36; Latour Bartholomew, 29; Anthony Bawolski, 35 (Prop 36); Patricia Jackson, 30; Donna Spitzer, 52; and Jesse Haney, 32 (Prop 36).
This operation follows 25 arrests on day one and eight arrests on day two. The multi-day enforcement effort highlights SCSO’s focus on curbing retail theft and ensuring accountability for repeat offenders.
