GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A Grand Island man, Ryan L. Snyder, 52, was arrested Jan. 11 after investigators say he diverted customer payments intended for a local roofing company into a business account he controls.
Snyder, who worked as a project manager for A2 Roofing and Siding, allegedly collected payments from about 10 clients that were never turned over to the company. Instead, the payments were directed to ELO10 LLC, a business Snyder manages, and deposited into that account.
Court documents show text messages from Snyder apologizing and providing a detailed breakdown of which clients he collected from and the amounts owed to A2 Roofing.
Snyder was taken into custody at 110 Public Safety Drive and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections. His bond was set at $20,000 (10 percent), and a no-contact order with A2 Roofing was imposed. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 5 at 3:00 p.m. in Hall County Courtroom 1.
The Grand Island Police Department and local courts continue to monitor the case. As with all criminal proceedings, Snyder is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
