Dickinson County, Kan. — A 38-year-old man from Enterprise, Kansas, is behind bars following a child sex crimes investigation prompted by a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Ryan Matthew Roth was arrested Thursday by deputies from the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities charged Roth with aggravated internet trading in child pornography and the sexual exploitation of a child.
The investigation began earlier this year when federal authorities passed along a tip about suspicious online activity. In April, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence on the 500 block of Court Street, gathering evidence that led to a formal arrest warrant.
Roth was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Dickinson County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
Law enforcement continues to remind parents to be cautious about the content they share involving their children online, as oversharing can unintentionally expose minors to exploitation risks.
