Ryan Jacob Spencer Charged in Greensboro Stabbing

23-Year-Old Held Without Bond After Domestic Incident

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Ryan Jacob Spencer, 23, is being held without bond following a domestic-related stabbing, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Spencer was arrested on February 19 and charged with attempted first-degree murder; assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury; assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill; and misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. He remains in custody at the Guilford County Jail.

Witnesses told police the incident began when a woman fled from a vehicle and was chased by a man who then allegedly stabbed her. Authorities said a bystander intervened, injuring the suspect and detaining him until officers arrived.

Both the victim and Spencer were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victim has since been released. Police confirmed the two were in a domestic relationship.

The investigation remains active, and officials are asking anyone with additional information to contact Crime Stoppers.
