GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Ryan Delorme was arrested on August 28 following an assault and theft incident in Grand Forks.
Grand Forks Police responded to a disturbance near 6th Avenue and 3rd Street North. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a victim who reported being assaulted by Delorme, who then stole his cell phone before fleeing the scene.
Using a provided description, officers quickly located and apprehended Delorme. He was booked into Grand Forks Jail on charges of robbery and simple assault.
Authorities confirmed that the incident is now closed and assured the public that there is no ongoing threat.
