PATTAYA, THAILAND | June 7, 2025 — A Russian couple has come under police investigation after allegedly fleeing a massage parlor in Pattaya without paying for services on June 6.

Ms. Anyamanee Thantim, 48, an employee at Smooth Day Thai Massage in Soi Phra Tamnak 5, reported the incident to the Pattaya City Police, providing clear CCTV footage showing the couple’s actions.

The couple, appearing as typical tourists aged between 30 and 40, requested a full course traditional Thai massage. After the session, when the staff presented the bill, the couple expressed dissatisfaction with the prices.

To avoid conflict, the parlor offered a reduced rate of 350 baht per person per hour. The tourists agreed to pay via bank transfer and showed a slip, but no money was ever received.

Ignoring staff pleas for verification, the couple sped away on a black automatic motorcycle, captured clearly on CCTV.

The parlor has shared the footage publicly, warning other businesses to remain vigilant against similar scams.
