The Khar police arrested Ruben Ajah Okaro, a 32-year-old Nigerian resident of Nalasopara East, on Saturday for allegedly possessing 48.5 grams of cocaine worth approximately Rs4.5 lakh.
The arrest took place during a routine patrol behind the railway colony on Road No. 30, near Galaxy Cinema in Khar West. Following the seizure, a case was registered against Okaro under sections 8(a) and 21(b) of the Narcotics Control Act at the Khar Police Station.
The operation was led by Police Inspector Vaibhav Katkar and Assistant Police Inspector Yogesh Jadhav, who conducted the successful raid.
