RPF Arrests Two Women from Odisha with 7.5 kg Ganja

Jhulata and Renuka Nayak caught smuggling drugs to Kerala-bound train

Coimbatore: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has arrested two women from Odisha attempting to smuggle 7.5 kg of ganja to Coimbatore on a Kerala-bound train.

The accused were identified as:

Jhulata Nayak (39) – Kandhamal district, Odisha

Renuka Nayak (40) – Kandhamal district, Odisha

The RPF intercepted the women during routine checks and seized the ganja, preventing the drugs from reaching their destination.

Investigations are ongoing to determine whether the accused were part of a larger drug trafficking network operating along the Odisha-Kerala route.
