Roger Brown Jr. Charged in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

29-year-old rider killed in Georgia collision

MARTINEZ, GA — A 75-year-old man, Roger Brown Jr., has been charged following a crash that killed 29-year-old Tyler Ray Dunham of Grovetown in October, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

Brown faces homicide by vehicle and failure to yield while turning charges in connection with the crash on Jimmie Dyess Expressway near the Interstate 20 eastbound on-ramp.

Authorities reported that Dunham was riding his motorcycle north on Jimmie Dyess Expressway when Brown’s Jeep attempted a left turn to enter I-20 eastbound. Dunham was ejected from his motorcycle and later died from his injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Jeep were taken to Doctors Hospital with injuries sustained in the collision.
