STERLING, Ill. — Michelle Virgili, 44, of Rock Falls, has been charged with theft of over $500 following an investigation by the Sterling Police Department. Virgili, who is not currently in custody, was charged in Whiteside County Court and has a pending court date.
According to a media release from the Sterling Police Department, the charges stem from an internal theft report received on January 8, at approximately 2:33 p.m., from a local business, Gold Rush Amusement.
Gold Rush Amusement, a supplier of video gaming machines, reported the theft, leading to the investigation and eventual charges against Virgili.
