FERGUS FALLS, Minn. — A Rochester woman was arrested over the weekend outside the Fergus Falls Fleet Farm after allegedly stealing hunting equipment and a bicycle, according to Otter Tail County prosecutors.

Kristi Ann Striker, 45, was charged with multiple counts of theft stemming from the incident on Saturday, June 7.

Court documents reveal that at approximately 1:30 p.m., Fergus Falls Police received a tip from a witness who said a woman had offered to sell them a rifle scope and game cameras, claiming the items were stolen from Fleet Farm. The witness also said the woman had previously given them a bicycle in the store’s parking lot.

When police located Striker nearby and asked about the incident, she admitted outright: “Yeah, I stole some stuff.” Officers then searched her belongings and found the unopened merchandise — a rifle scope and multiple game cameras — still in original packaging. The items were later confirmed by Fleet Farm to be unpaid for, with a total value of $851.04.

Police also determined the bicycle Striker had given to the witness belonged to a Fleet Farm employee.

While in custody, Striker reportedly said she had recently been released from jail and was trying to get back to Minneapolis.

Striker was booked into the Otter Tail County Detention Facility and made her first court appearance on Tuesday, June 10.
