Yong D. Wolfer, a 45-year-old Rochester resident, was arrested on February 20, 2025, following an outstanding warrant for his involvement in a 2021 burglary case in Wayne County.
Wolfer, of Flower City Park, faces charges of third-degree burglary and petit larceny in connection with an incident that took place on November 28, 2021, in the Town of Macedon. Authorities issued the arrest warrant after an extensive investigation into the crime.
Deputies took Wolfer into custody at approximately 5:02 p.m. on February 20. Following his arrest, Wolfer was transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing. He is scheduled for arraignment at 7 p.m. during the CAP proceedings.
Authorities continue to investigate the case as Wolfer awaits his court appearance.
