BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — Three people, including a father and son, have been arrested after Hernando County deputies executed a raid on a Brooksville home, recovering large quantities of drugs and a stolen firearm.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) said the home on Wildwood Drive was searched Wednesday as part of a follow-up investigation into 46-year-old Robert Wright Jr., who was previously arrested during a traffic stop on July 28 for possession of 56.3 grams of fentanyl.
Detectives recovered fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana, alprazolam, diazepam, gun ammunition, and various drug paraphernalia in Wright Jr.’s possession.
In the bedroom of 20-year-old Robert Wright III, officers found a firearm reported stolen from Citrus County. Wright Jr. now faces multiple drug-related charges and possession of ammunition as a convicted felon and will be held without bond.
Robert Wright III was booked for possession of a stolen firearm. Also arrested was 23-year-old Nikilya Davis, who faces three counts of drug possession.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities continue to examine the case for any additional criminal activity linked to the suspects.
