Two men have been arrested in connection with the April murder of Jonathan Franco, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives.
Franco, 33, was found shot to death at around 4:40 a.m. on April 30, 2024, on Frank Avenue, near Chestnut and Muscat Avenue. Investigators identified Robert Saldana, 42, and Gary Guerra, 55, both from Fresno, as the suspected shooters in the case.
Saldana, who had been in the Fresno County Jail since August on charges of robbery, now faces an additional charge of murder. He is not eligible for bail. Guerra, arrested on Saturday, also faces a murder charge, with bail set at $1 million.
