Robert Rosado Arrested for Impersonating Officer, Robbery in Philly

Man posed as ICE agent, zip‑tied worker, and fled with $1K

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities on Monday revealed the arrest of Robert Rosado, 54, of the 6800 block of Bingham Street, who has been charged with impersonating law enforcement, robbery, VUFA violations, theft by deception, and other offenses.
On June 8, 2025, around 2:10 p.m., Rosado drove a white Ford E‑250 van with red stripes to an auto repair shop on the 6400 block of Harbison Avenue in Mayfair. Wearing a black tactical vest labeled “Security Enforcement Agent,” a U.S.-flag baseball cap, black sunglasses, gloves, and dark cargo pants, he allegedly presented himself as an ICE agent, zip‑tied a female clerk, and stole approximately $1,000 in cash.
Rosado then fled north on Harbison Avenue toward Roosevelt Boulevard Philadelphia Police say federal authorities are also evaluating potential charges related to impersonating a federal officer.

He was arrested late yesterday and remains in custody pending arraignment. Officials are urging anyone with additional information or video to contact Northeast Detectives at 215‑685‑3153 or anonymously at 215‑686‑TIPS (8477).
